Risk management software for brokers.

One risk desk for your clients' order flow: routing rules for A-book, B-book and partial hedging, live net exposure, client profiling, limits, alerts and reports.

What it is

What is brokerage risk management software?

Brokerage risk management software watches the orders and positions of a broker's clients and decides how that risk is handled. It routes each order to the market (A-book), keeps it in-house (B-book) or splits it, tracks the broker's net exposure per symbol, and alerts the dealing team before a limit is breached.

Fellow Data builds this layer as modular software. Every module works from the same live view of your book, so routing decisions, exposure, client profiles and alerts stay consistent with each other.

It is built for brokerages, including forex and CFD brokers, and for other trading organisations that carry the risk of their clients' trading. To see how it fits the A-book and B-book model, read risk technology for brokerages.

The risk desk

One desk for your clients' order flow.

Switch between order routing, exposure, client profiles, alerts and reports. Every view shares the same data.

Route every client order by rules you control: A-book, B-book or a partial hedge, decided by client profile, order size, symbol and exposure.

Modules

Modules for every part of brokerage risk.

Use them together as one risk desk, or start with the modules you need most.

  • Order flow routing

Decide where every client order goes. Rules based on client group, toxicity score, order size, symbol and current exposure send each order to A-book, B-book or a partial hedge.

    • A-book, B-book and partial hedge
    • Rules by client group and symbol
    • Order size thresholds
    • Exposure-based switching
  • Client risk profiling

Score clients on how they trade, so consistently profitable or toxic flow is recognised early and can be routed to the market before it costs you.

How it works

How a client order is risk-managed.

From the moment an order arrives to the moment your exposure updates, every step follows rules you set.

  1. 01

    Order arrives

A client order arrives from your trading platform through the data and API layer.

  2. 02

    Client is profiled

The client's group, trading history and toxicity score are checked.

  3. 03

    A rule decides the route

The first matching rule sends the order to A-book, B-book or a partial hedge.

  4. 04

    Exposure updates

Net exposure per symbol and the hedge ratio update straight away.

  5. 05

    Alert or hedge

If a limit is breached, the desk is alerted or an approved auto-hedge runs, and the event is logged.

Questions

Questions about our risk management software.

Who is Fellow Data's risk management software for?

It is built for brokerages, including forex and CFD brokers, and for other trading organisations, such as prop trading firms, that need to see and control the risk created by their clients' or traders' activity.

Can routing rules change automatically?

Rules can react to conditions you define. For example, a symbol that goes over its exposure limit can trigger an auto-hedge, and a client whose toxicity score rises can be moved to A-book. Depending on configuration, automatic actions can be limited or require approval first.

Does it replace my dealing desk?

No. It gives your dealing and risk team one clear view of order flow and exposure, applies the rules they set, and alerts them when something needs a decision. People stay in control of policy and exceptions.

Is Fellow Data a regulated financial service?

No. Fellow Data provides technology and software. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it does not provide investment advice, brokerage, custody or other regulated financial services, and your firm keeps responsibility for its own regulatory obligations.

Can I see a demo?

Yes. Request a demo and tell us about your firm, your platforms and the risk questions you want answered. The demos on this website use simulated data.
